RECOGNIZE the credential when attached to a resume or presented by a potential employee. Tell your human resources team about the Career Readiness Certificate and how to use it.

REQUEST the credential from job applicants. Start including the phrase, "Career Readiness Certificate Preferred," in your job advertising and announcements. If jobseekers don't have a certificate, refer them to a local One Stop Career Center or WorkKeys Testing Center (community college).

REQUIRE the credential when hiring and use it to evaluate employees for promotion, once you have profiled the job.
